In recent years, our founder's frustration with the healthcare billing process grew as he experienced it firsthand as both a patient and caregiver. Today’s payment systems are built around insurance companies rather than patients, even as patient responsibility now accounts for nearly 20% of provider revenue due to high deductible plans, rising out-of-pocket costs, and increased claim denials. A new approach is needed—one that prioritizes the patient as a payer.
StitchFin was founded to transform the patient financial experience, drawing on feedback from over two dozen patient experience and revenue cycle leaders in health systems, along with guidance from our advisors—prominent executives and experts in revenue cycle management.
Our mission: A patient’s sole focus should be on their clinical care and path to good health, not on the complexities of billing. We invite you to join us on this journey! Reach us at hello@stitchfin.com.
