How our journey began

In recent years, our founder's frustration with the healthcare billing process grew as he experienced it firsthand as both a patient and caregiver. Today’s payment systems are built around insurance companies rather than patients, even as patient responsibility now accounts for nearly 20% of provider revenue due to high deductible plans, rising out-of-pocket costs, and increased claim denials. A new approach is needed—one that prioritizes the patient as a payer.

StitchFin was founded to transform the patient financial experience, drawing on feedback from over two dozen patient experience and revenue cycle leaders in health systems, along with guidance from our advisors—prominent executives and experts in revenue cycle management.

Our mission: A patient’s sole focus should be on their clinical care and path to good health, not on the complexities of billing. We invite you to join us on this journey! Reach us at hello@stitchfin.com.

How our journey began

Inspired by personal experiences as both a patient and caregiver, our founder’s frustration with the inefficiencies of healthcare billing sparked a bold vision for change. Today’s revenue cycle systems often fail to deliver the clarity patients need—whether it’s understanding eligibility, cost estimates, financing options, or accessing assistance. At the same time, providers striving to offer exceptional care are hindered by staff shortages and burnout, leading to missed opportunities for better outcomes. Providers' staff spend countless hours on tasks that take away from their ability to deliver faster care and handle complex cases.

Our mission is to revolutionize patient care by equipping providers with the tools to connect intelligently with patients, payers, and partners. Through our innovative technology, we aim to maximize outcomes while eliminating inefficiencies that burden the healthcare system. By transforming revenue cycle systems with advanced AI automation, we create seamless communication, unlock exponential efficiencies, and deliver meaningful improvements for both patients and providers.

We invite you to join us on this journey!
